Seafox Operations BV is an established company in the offshore market with professional and ambitious personnel. Day to day onshore operations are combined in offices in the Netherlands and the Middle East. Together they service the Seafox fleet that are united in the Seafox Group.

Function description

The office-Based Safety Advisor is responsible for supporting the HSE Department in the management of safety documentation, certifications, and coordination with offshore jack-up barge operations, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
The Safety Advisor reports directly to the QHSE Manager and provides administrative and operational safety support. 

Work location is IJmuiden office based but includes offshore and on-site visits, as required.

General Tasks:

  • Support HSE documentation including procedures, risk assessments, PTW records, and audits.
  • Assist with incident reporting, corrective actions, and follow-up tracking.
  • Provide HSE support for project planning and coordination with offshore teams.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly HSE reports for management and clients.
  • Monitor competency of offshore personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with DOC, ISO 45001,9001, 45001, company policies, and basic EU HSE requirements.
  • Ensure internal audits are carried out in accordance with company standards
  • Ability to record and report the monthly, quarterly, annual KPIs, and HSE statistics.
  • Assist in preparation of COMOPS documents in cooperation with onshore rig management
  • Assist in day to day QHSE-matters.
  • Available and fit to perform offshore site visits, as required.

Requirements

Required Experience:

  • 2–3 years HSE experience in an office or project support role.
  • Experience related to offshore/marine/jack-up barge operations.
  • Good skills in using Ms excel, word, powerPoint, sharepoint.

 Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety certificate preferred.
  • Good communication, organizational skills and team building skills.
  • Knowledge of offshore safety practices is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
