Burj is a three-legged, self-elevating jack-up unit for accommodation and offshore support services. She was built in Vicksburg, Mississippi (USA, in 1972 by Marathon LeTourneau as an 82-C design jack-up drilling rig and converted in 2012 by Lamprell, in Sharjah, UAE. 

Burj has a maximum Person on Board (POB) capacity of 300 (180 Client POB). She also has a maximum water depth operating capability of 350 feet and three cranes, with a maximum lift capacity of 200 MT; the largest crane is positioned on a 60-foot retractable cantilever.
